3/28 and 3/29: Spring Branch-Memorial Library Plant and Book Festival

Spring Branch-Memorial Library will host its 2025 Plant and Book Festival, Friday, March 28, from 10 AM until 5 PM, and Saturday, March 29, from 10 AM until 4 PM.  Spring bedding plants, perennials, shrubs and gently used books, vinyl records and CDs will be for sale.

In addition, the very popular Coupon Board is returning this year, offering attendees opportunities to purchase gift cards from area restaurants and retailers. Other items created by the library’s crafting group and 3D printer also will be for sale.

All funds raised at the 2025 Plant and Book Festival directly benefit the Spring Branch-Memorial Library.  Funds are used to provide educational and enrichment programs for all ages including computer programming classes for teens, STEM programs for school-aged children, early literacy programs for toddlers and preschoolers, and cooking and craft programs for adults.

The Spring Branch-Memorial Library is a branch of the Harris County Public Library (HCPL).  In 2024, HCPL won the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, the national highest honor given to institutions that demonstrate excellence in service to their communities. The award is given annually by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The library is located at 930 Corbindale Road, Houston 77024.  For more information, call 832-927-5510.
